Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This more info is certainly a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The support position established for intervention experiences a read more large inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
